Dome of the Golf Ball
In the year 2013, the golf ball building was erected to celebrate the year that golf became a national sport.
The building hovers over the ground without any support pillars.
If there is the appearance of a large object about to strike it, (as in the game of golf) it will spontaneously rev up it's engines and zoom itself away, into a pine forest or hover over a sand pit. This behavior has been programmed into the automatic computer controlled systems running the structure.
Even a "hole in one" has been programmed into it's repertoire of possible automatic responses. The environmental conditions which require this response have been guessed at unsuccessfully by everyone who has seen and observed the golf ball building in action.
In the game of golf, a "hole in one" can occur only in a very rare situation. Is there a hole in the planet which can precisely contain the golf ball building?
We invite readers to submit suggestions for what and where that hole might be.
