Human Kite

Monday, November 01, 2010

Away, away, into the sky and up,
if we outspread our arms so wide, and leap
into the cloud-swept decline,
surely, surely we will fly on.

Forever into the blue breezes with only
a single kite-string to tether us down:

the umbilicus of the earth.
