Morning on the Scarborough Bluffs

Thursday, December 30, 2010

Silent sunrise seeps
through overhanging laces,
Tree's leaves and shadowy clouds entwine
to gather the focal sun.

Steep decline to water, lapping
waving, moving,
restless as a morning dog.

Faintly forward roof line spies
outward to the horizon's shorelines,
silent witness to the solar eye.
